The great classics
This versatile and variable orchestra also gives classical performances through various productions. It’s performances are part of the symphonic concerts by the Conservatoire de musique de la Montérégie. From baroque music to today's music, the concert programs are varied and eclectic, allowing the public to discover the multiple facets of the orchestral universe.

Creating a bridge
The OSGM offers young university graduates the opportunity to acquire their first professional experiences by merging with experienced musicians and renowned conductors such as Nicolas Ellis, Thomas Leduc , Léa Moisan-Perrier and Félix Ste-Marie. This mentoring becomes a “training laboratory” allowing the next generation of musicians to propel themselves towards a professional career.

ESBQ Ballets
In addition, the Orchestra has been collaborating for several years with choreographer Anne Dryburgh and the dancers of the École supérieure de ballet du Québec (ESBQ). This union between music and ballet allows the next generation to perform on stage and perfect their art during various productions.

Soloists
The orchestra regularly collaborates with soloists whom it accompanies during its annual concerts in Greater Montreal venues such as the Maison symphonique, the Claude-Champagne Hall and the Cinquième Salle at Place des Arts.
